About Us

Our Why

On The Water With Veterans, is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, founded in 2019 by Timothy Wilson and Captain Anthony Corcella. Dedicated to our veterans, the primary goal is helping these brave men and women connect with others alike, on the water, for therapeutic fishing and social relations.  We strive to support physical and emotional rehabilitation through fishing and associated activities including education and outings. 

Our veterans have sacrificed so much serving our country, preserving our freedom, and keeping us safe, that they deserve to experience serene moments and tranquility. We hope to provide relaxation and alleviate the stresses accrued from the conflict of war. Did you know that 1 out of 3 veterans are diagnosed with PTSD, and less than 40% will seek help. For every veteran killed by enemy combatants, 25 veterans kill themselves. This is something that we hope to make an impact on.  Each year, we plan events to take veterans on fishing trips and conduct clinics. All with lunch provided after, along with free raffle prizes as a small token of our appreciation to those who deserve it the most.  All fishing and equipment is provided to the participants at no cost. Fishing trips, both one day, and multi-day are also provided free of charge to participants. Our veterans will never pay a dime.
